Ray Walker created Saint Cloud to exist as an ever-changing, dynamic artistic expression communicating his preferences and Artwork. He continues to be the Sole owner and Employee at Saint Cloud. This March, 2026, marks 7 years of owning and operating Saint Cloud.

Ray’s family is from Marion, Kentucky, dating back to the early 1800’s. And while history isn’t a big part of our consumer-facing branding, it means a lot to us at Saint Cloud. It was this deep history that led Ray to creating a different trajectory for Saint Cloud. The industry is filled with others speaking about the past. He wanted to look to the future.

As a one-man operation, the emphasis is not on perfection, but Art. Barrels, their resulting blends, proofs, the packaging, colors, names of releases, everything, all of it, comes from one person.

No one person brings perfection. They bring perspective, flaws, identity. That’s the idea of Saint Cloud. Saint Cloud stands on its own because it is the mind spring of one specific person.

In the end, we have something no one else can offer. We don’t claim to be “the best”, we are proud to say that we are authentic. Saint Cloud is one of the only Single Owner / Single Operated Kentucky Bourbon brands in the Nation!
